Hump running down hallway above support beam -   I'm looking to purchase a home in Smyrna. There is a noticeable hump (about 1 1/2")in a main hallway directly above a support beam. The current owner said it was there when he bought it seven years ago. The basement has a finished ceiling so I can\'t see the beam itself. There are three steel posts holding up the beam. I would like a rough estimate based on the previous information. I know that it will be a ballpark estimate, but I don't want to waste your time until I have the house under contract. However, I do want to have a general idea of how much it will cost before I submit an offer. I will also need to move an interior wall that may be load bearing once I purchase the home. Finish Bathroom Remodel -   I am seeking a contractor who can complete a bathroom remodel for me as well as some additional work. I paid Mike with R & M Contracting out of Cartersville before the job was complete (things were going so well) and I believe the job has been abandoned. You would probably have to come look at the job in order to give me an accurate quote on how much it would cost to complete. Here is a general list: Mike replaced and retiled the shower area. It looks pretty much done, but the shower will not drain. It appears that there may be grout in the drain. There is a small wall where the tile needs to be finished. There are a couple of loose tiles on the floor. I would like a shelf or insert installed and tiled in the shower for leg shaving/products. Sink faucets need to be replaced as does the showerhead. I have the replacements. Door to the bathroom needs to be fixed to accommodate the tile. Blinds and hardware (like towel racks) need to be reinstalled. I also need paint touched up in the bathroom and adjoining bedroom. I would also like to get pricing on painting two additional bedrooms. Kohler Water Tiles -   We are building an 8X4 shower with 2 shower systems. I can e-mail photos and my layout, but it is basically 8 feet wide by 4 feet deep and 8 feet tall space, with 3 walls (rear and two sides). The entrance will be floor to ceiling glass. One shower system will include 6 Kohler Water Tiles and a regular shower head. The Water Tiles should be installed as 3 on the rear wall and the other 3 on the side wall attached to this side of the space. The other shower system will have 3 Kohler Water Tiles on the rear wall, a rain shower head over the center of this side of the space, and a hand shower on the side wall. Currently there is a one piece 3 foot shower enclosure, which we'll gut ourselves. Also, we will gut the bathroom to create the space for the additional 5 feet of shower space; it's basically a linen closet that we'll need to remove. We will provide all of the fixtures to be used, although we will need some guidance on which valves we need to purchase for the system to operate the way we'd like it to run. We would like to have the option of using both shower systems at the same time, along with having the shower heads and the Water Tiles running at once, if possible. We plan to gut the area in December. We will have all of our fixtures by February. We're hoping to complete the plumbing phase of this project then. Thank you in advance for your time. Fix drainage in back yard, and add flagstone path -   A previous contractor botched a job of putting drains in my back yard, and now when it rains water comes around the house and drowns the grass in the side yard and front yard. I need someone to come out and move the current drains, and add new drains as needed. I also would like a new 60 foot by 2.5 foot flagstone pathway connecting my front porch and back patio, going around the side of the house. Need Screening and Recoat possibly refinish ~1200 sq ft -   I am about to move into this condo that needs the flooring revived. The floors are dark parquet throughout. It has some deep scratches that may be able to be touched up to allow for just a screening and re-coat or they may be need to be sanded down and refinished. Not certain but price does come into play. Small Bathroom Remodel -   I have a bathroom in an old house in Decatur, just inside the perimeter that I want to do a full remodel on. I want to rip out the lineolum, install tile, tear out the tub and wall tiles and replace those with a new tub and new tile on the walls. It will need a new vanity and medicine cabinet combo. Also, new trim at the bottom of the walls all the way around. I can pay for materials, and you can just give me quotes for labor. The bathroom is 4\\\'10\\\" by 7\\\'1\\\" not including the tub. I\\\'d also like to replace the door on the bathroom. Doesn\\\'t need to be prehung, it can just be a replacement slab. The only small issue with this remodel is that the area between the toilet and the tub has some water damage and seems to be rotted out. So, the subfloor will need to be replaced there. The rotten area doesn't seem to be more than a square foot in size, but we won't know for sure until the tub comes out. Also, I may need some help bringing materials to my house since I do not have a truck. I only want quotes from contractors that do high quality work and don\\\'t settle for \\\"good enough\\\".
