Original bid $26,000, 3 months later it has grown to $46,000, he blames the extra $20,000 on him not being able to estimate "the unknowns". At this point he's completely messed up my home and all he has to offer is excuses and a bad attitude. In our last phone conversation when I complained about his work, he responded with "f*** you". Its obvious he should not be in business or have a license. I'll be contacting his insurance/bonding agencies and my attorney tomorrow.

One of the worst contractor experiences I have had. Learned my lesson to get everything in writing, and to put disincentives in a contract for poor or late performance. Made multiple promises verbally to replace dead plants, but then refused (almost 2 years later now). Also failed to cement certain joints in irrigation system (I had someone else fix). Finally, only thing done on time was call from his wife requesting payment

I would not recommend this contractor to anyone. This contractor is not professional. had assistant to call me the night before to verify appointment. As the appointment he provided to her was not the appointment that I had given him. As that appointment was cancelled due to disqualification. (he wanted my entire job and I already told him NO there are others that needed work to not only you- he was being very greedy and I don't like that. This is my HOUSE not YOURS!) I explained to the young lady that his appointment was for Sunday at 11:00. Since I had another engagement on the 17th I called and left a message if he can come on the 10th. His assistant called me back and stated yes he will be there. She later called them that day (10TH) and confirmed he is on his way. He never showed up. I believe that was a Godly Blessing! In the future if I use this site this company is bared from bidding on my projects.

These are the guys to use. Pearl Construction completely remodeled our master bath. They built a custom shower that I never want to get out of. After numerous bad experiences with contactors. ROWE'S TREE SERVICE INC.,When the tree in my backyard fell through my roof after a storm, I call various services and told of the emergency at hand. Everyone just said they were book, but Rowe empathized and wrote me into their schedule. They came out and were the most courteous individuals you could contract. Bob Doyle abandonded the job before the final draw leaving without finishing his work, leaving a huge mess, poor work that is not to code, and his debris all over my property. He threatened a lien on our home if we did not pay him more money, even though the work is not done and he violated a written, signed, binding contract. We are having to get an attorney and take him to court for his unfinished and poor work. Before dealing with him, I suggest you write a detailed contract and insist he follows those details. Do not pay him a draw unless each contract item is completed. Watch out for this guy!

I was quoted and billed by the owner of Biltmore just under $2000 to reflash 1 area 26ft long, 1 area 96ft long, 1 area 4.5ft long, patch some areas that a squirrel is getting in the roof and repair flashing at another area. What I got was a clear caulk applied to some of these areas. After speaking with the owner of Biltmore he informed me that caulk is considered flashing and what did I expect. I expected metal flashing when I was quoted and billed almost $2000 for flashing.

I called David Christy to figure out an electrical problem at a rental house I own. My tenants called and told me they had lost power in both the bathrooms. I tried to figure it out but couldn't. Dave kept in constant contact with me as we were trying to set up a time that was workable for all involved. Dave found the problem and fixed it quickly and efficiently. It is a great flooring company! I had several companies looking at my floors and giving me quotes. Some companies didn't show up, others sent estimator that didn't explain me the work, and other were way to high.. after all my researchs I ended up choosing Bertolli Floors. Bruno and Philip were prompt, on time and also they were very corteous.. I though Bertolli Floors would be a good choice. Doesn't stand behind his work:warranty not honored Hired CER to install a full basement bathroom. The work quality was "fair". Then the shower flooded my basement after the 1st use. For 4 months CER promised to fix it but never did. The shower is unusable though it's still within his apparently useless "warranty" period. Other quality complaints: 1) he promised other smaller work that was never completed 2) floor tile are very uneven (up to 1/4" height difference between adjacent tile) 3) doors are not level 4) cracked grout on floor and wall tile. You pay a contractor to coordinate a project - this too was pretty poor. I bent my work schedule to accommodate his and many days were no shows by him or his workers. I was often asked to pick up parts and to call subcontractors directly to arrange work. CER was never available by cell after the project started, though he was very prompt & accommodating prior to signing a contract. His electrician, Howard, was excellent - good quality and courteous. The other subs were decent. I originally chose not to post a review when the project was first completed - the work was so-so but his price was the lowest (figured you get what you pay for). Now he gets the review since he's not honoring the warranty and he jerked me around for so long. Save your time & money DO NOT HIRE Christopher E Riley.

A true con-artist. He and his wife(partner), Nicole Boyd will charm their way into your home, office, etc, and they will clean, oh yes, they will clean you right out of everything they can get their hands on. She is under investigation for identity theft right now. Be cautious, these are pros, with her legal background, she knows just what she can get away with so that you are left basically helpless. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy!! If you do hire them, make sure you have video monitoring.

Van came and installed a new Rennai tankless water heater in one day, including re-plumbing the lines and removing the old water heater tank. He recommended a rebate for us and gave us the right paperwork for that without us even asking for it. I'm a little late in writing this review, but we're still very pleased with his work and would recommend Advanced Tankless.

Great Job, I had my house remodeled by a contractor I have found on Online search engine. The original quote was 26,000. I gave him a deposit of 5,000, and the work was supposed to begin the following Monday, not only he did not show up, but I couldn't get in touch with him since then. I looked up the company on secretary of state and guess what, that company doesn't even exist. To make a long story short, I was very upset, and started to look for a new contractor. I came up across T&R Remodeling, when they came out to see the project they were extremely professional and very nice. They promised me that they will do my project and as a courtesy, they will discount their estimate by 5000 dollars. They have completed the project within estimated time and budget. I had Richard come install a security light in my driveway. He was extremely prompt with returning my call. He arrived exactly at the time we requested. I simply left him to his own devices and a few hours later the light was installed. The quality of work was extremely high, even for what might be a relatively small project. Very disappointed. I have read the comments and I notive that Chris and Kevin were their painters. We had the bad luck to get Patrick. He did a terrible job and I have had to retouch the painting!! I have pictures to prove it. He painted my daughter's bedroom and he kept the door closed all the time. My mistake was not checking the room when he left, I had to leave the house and my husband was too busy with the TV installer. When I finally saw the room I notice to my dismay that he had not cut around the windows and doors very well (actually it looks horrible) and I also found a lot of spots of paint in my brand new carpet...he had left a few minutes to go to the hardware store... I think he went to buy some solution to clean my carpet, there is a pink spot that is not coming out. The sad part is that Richard who had seem very professional never returned my calls and only communicated by e-mail (a few hours later...). He ended up siding by Patrick (who claims that he started Richard in the business). Anyway, beware of these so called "professional painters"...

DO NOT use this contractor. He talks a good line. He left our project in a mess, every joint he sweated leaked, he melted part of a $600 tub/shower unit. When we cut away the subfloor we found the floor joists were not properly shimmed, the tub drain was running uphill and laying on a copper supply line. None of the pipes were strapped or supported. We paid him half the $ and he did not do the work.

I hired Integrity Landscaping to implement a landscape plan I had designed by another company who wanted to charge a pretty high price for the work. Benjamin came out quickly and gave me a very fair quote for the work and suggested a couple of improvements that complemented the plan nicely. Benjamin works hard and always left a clean work-site at the end of the day. The end-result is definately something that I can enjoy and continue to refine for years to come.

I recently had a tankless water heater system installed by Advanced Tankless. I am so glad that I did. I had contacted one of the big box stores first and they sent out someone who spoke very little English and did not know much about tankless water heater systems. He may have been an assistant that they could spare. He would not give me a recommendation about the three different locations where it could be installed. My installation needed to have electrical and venting installed. The big box store would not do that work. I would have had to contact an electrician and hvac specialist to complete the job. I thought the total cost of the project with the big box store would go way beyond where I wanted to go. I did an internet search and located Advanced Tankless which had positive references. I called Van and he came over and made a recommendation that saved me from having to install venting. He also took care of all of the other requirements that the big box store would not do at a substantially much lower total cost. I have had a number of contactors do work on my house and I believe Van was the most professional of them all. He went out of his way to relocate pipe so that I could continue to use the location where the tankless system was installed for storage. I have already recommended Advanced Tankless to a friend who is planning to install one in his next home purchase. You will do yourself a big favor by calling Van at Advanced Tankless today.

After doing a lot of research on tankless water heaters, I decided to go with Advanced Tankless, Inc.to install an outside tankless system in my guest house. There were many reasons why I decided to go with Advanced Tankless Inc. First of all Van took the time to answer all my questions and there were a lot of them (over a period of a month or more). When he came and inspected the property he took his time on planning where he would install the tankless system on the outside of property. The work he performed was to the highest standard and best yet the price could not be beaten. The outside tankless system is operating well with no problems even with temperatures going as low as 12 degrees Farenheit. I stongly recomend him. I wish all my other home renovation projects would go as easy as this.

I am absolutely satisfied with the excellent value and excellent product I received from Van. If you're considering "going tankless", don't wait till your water heater dies before switching. I researched this product for a long time before making my decision, which is a good thing because it kept me from paying too much before I knew about Advanced Tankless. Van also performed several other minor plumbing repairs while he was in my home, & left everything neat and clean. Dwayn (owner) came out and gave me a very reasonable estimate on some drainage work I needed done. His crews showed up on time and finished the job in one day. The work required digging around sprinkler lines and water main. They did cut the sprinkler line (I wasn't suprised) but they fixed it immediately and there's been no issues. I hired Ben to replace a glass window with a door and widen my laundry closet door for easy access to my front loading washer. I needed everything done in 4 days because my lease was up and I had to move. Part of the job was to create a frame for one of the doors because I could not find a 30" pre hung exterior door. Ben is a master carpenter and built a frame to replace the glass pane window. The work area was clean and free of debris at the end of the construction which was completed on schedule.

I had Vince's Electrical Service come to my home and install 4 recessed can lights in my son's room. I had them install 3 can lights in my hall way. I had them install two attic lights. I had them install three bath fans. I had them install two dedicated recepticals in my office for my computers. I also had them install a gpf receptical in my guest bathroom. I also had them install two phone jacks, three cable jacks and 6 recepticals in a wall addition. Both Rich and Vince were extremely professional and courteous. I had the opportunity to use Trees To Go for the cutting and removal of two very large tulip poplar trees in my yard. A Team Contracting Services,Fernando: you were very professional in your business dealings with my wife and I and you were extremely competent when it came to repairing our leaking toilet. The toilet developed a leak in the drainpipe that was in the back wall. Your experience and expertise saved us a lot of money and time by diagnosing and repairing the leak without having to remove a large portion of concrete in the floor in order to effect the removal of the broken pipe. Once the pipe was replaced, you repaired the back wall with new drywall which was perfectly matched to the existing wall pattern and the wall was repainted. Your clean up after the repair was completed was so good that one could not tell that there had been any problem in the wall. All of this was done on time and within the quoted amount. Three other quotes that we received were for $500 - $800 more than your quote. Thank you for a job well done. We would not hesitate to have you do our next repair or project. We have just completed the basement of our 4 year old house and the last part was the steps and handrail at the bottom of the stairs. Greg did a beautiful job on the rail and balusters. After the apparent completion, we felt the need to add an additional baluster to the top step for aesthetics appearances and to insure code compliance. Greg added the extra baluster at no addtional cost. We are very pleased with the finished product.

Dear Fellow Busy Professional, About 1 year ago, I started a new job that required long hours away from home and little time for house keeping. Phyllis was recommended to me by a friend. Hiring a house-keeper was new territory for me. I usually ran around the house to do extra cleaning when a stranger was expected to visit, now I was hiring a stranger to do all that running around for me. Phyllis has been great. She comes to my condo once a week for about 2 hours and cleans the bathroom, kitchen, floors, and does all that tedious dusting. Matt/Stephanie did work at 2 houses I have. House 1: Painted all white trim and gray on 3 sides of house (toward sun). Took down all shudders, painted them, re-hung, made some small repairs. House 2: Painted all window casings (change of color), roofed a new front porch, some other tidbits. Great work! I am trying to get them to do some more for me at the moment in fact. Highly recommend.

I would highly recommend this company for tree services and gutter cleaning. We have used them on several occasions and each time Mr. Gibson has been on time and has been professional in all of his services. I had 9 trees cut down and had my gutters cleaned. The job was done right the first time and I didn't have to go behind them for anything. They yard was cleaned when the job was over and you couldn't tell there were any trees standing.

C&C Home Maintenance and Repair,Well, it's been over two months since Wardell ruined my furnace and refused to own up to his mistakes. It cost me a boat load to get someone who was truly a certified HVAC tech to come and fix his mistakes. Took that guy 5 hours to re-wire the mess. Well, he's still not owning up. Guess his "satisfaction guarantee" means "your lucky I didn't burn down your house."

P&P Construction are the best at what they do ... at least i think so , they are very easy to work with , arrive on the job when they say and work until 7 or so at night to get it done in a timely fashion . I will recommend them to anyone else they that needs a home improvement project done or even just handyman work . Their work is professional and resonable .

VANCO PLUMBING,Van was recommended to us, by our builder, who was doing house repairs. Van was professional and courteous at all times and went out of his way to finish the job completely. He allowed time between installations, for us to complete the next faze of the project, (as putting up wall board and installing the floor) then was promptly back to finish the job, working late to complete it. We found the prices reasonable, and he had the flexibility to work with us, and our pre-bought equipment, besides having a fine sense of humor, while dealing with difficulties. Even did some building work at home, to finish a difficult job.

Just wanted to give you an update. I found out that Allen Bush is more than likely RICHARD ALLEN BUSH. He had mentioned several times that he was from Virginia. Anyway, he was fined by the state of VA with license suspension due to a number of things including failure to complete work, misappropriate of funds etc. See State of VA file # 2004-01991. Bet he is long gone from GA by now. Probably preying on poor unsuspecting hurricane victims or something...

Duncan Mechanial is top notch. Even though my job was small, they did not mind. Randy and Barbara came out gave me an estimate, and came back and did the work. The workmanship is excellent. Even here lately, I contacted Randy about having some work done. I appreciated his honesty in that he said you really do not need to have that done. I can do it he said, but honestly I don't want to have you go to an expense that might not be worth it at this time. Randy and Barbara have my vote and I'll certainly contact them for any future work I need to have done. Three cheers and two thumbs way up. Bottom line, they are "dependable", honest and perform top quality work!

I'm glad I'm not the only one after reading all this. We hired him to do work on the outside of our house. He would only work for an hour at a time. I gave him a few small installments and he would leave immediately to put the check in the bank. He did not complete anything and his work was crap. MDF molding on a front porch - even I know that it will not last with the weather. He also purchased brand new ladders (the crappy kind) and left them on site (which we still have). Anyway, he promised via e-mail to refund $600 and still we have rec'd nothing (3 months later). He will not answer our calls and has not answered any of my e-mails. He was driving a grey ford taurus. He cashed our checks using his "girlfriend's" name - Amanda Beach.

Tommy came out to fix my furnace after another supposedly "certified" HVAC technician from Benspost wired my brand new motor incorrectly. Because of the first guys mistakes, my repair cost me double what it should have. Tommy spent almost 5 hours at my house fixing the mistakes and was absolutely amazing. My furnace works great and is even quieter than it was before. I wish I had called him first! I highly recommend him!

C&C Home Maintenance and Repair,Wow. Unbelievable. First of all, of course my furnace was broken when you got here. Why else would I call a heating and air person? The "big company" was the first company to come out. They told me that my motor was burned up and gave me an astronomical quote. So, I told them "no thank you. I can get the motor for 1/3 the price you want to charge and I will get somone else to install it." Everything else was working fine. The burners would fire up and then go out when the fan did not kick in. So, I went and bought my motor. Enter Wardell. He tried to put it in one night and could not get power to it. I asked him if the fuse had been blown. He insisted there was no fuse. He called someone on the phone and still could not get power to it. I've changed the fuse on the furnace before so I knew where it went and showed him. I knew I should not use him at that moment, but, stupidly let him come back the next day. So, the next day he came back and got power to it. I told him there was a very strong burning smell in the entire house. I explained "not the regular smell that comes with turning on the heat, a chemical type burning smell. Like something is actually burning." He insisited it was something in the vents. I kept telling him that it smelled very bad. Finally he peeked his head in the door and smelled it, told me my relay was bad and that he was going to get the part and would be back. He never returned. So, of course I did not pay him. He had not finished the job when he left. I don't know anyone who pays any repair person before the job is complete. The next day, I had two seperate guys come out and look at it. Neither were "big business" they were both "one man shows." Both told me the same thing. That he had burned out the motor, hooked the furnace up wrong, and blown the ciircuit board. The guy that fixed it gave me a great price. He was here for almost 5 hours re-wiring everything. He told me what a mess this guy had made of it. I'm now out about $700 for a $200 repair. Does anyone know where I can formally complain or a good lawyer?

I didnt recieved any money so I dont owe her anything. As we all know large companys will tell you anything to get money out of you. Especially when you dont know. He said it was broken, plus someone made effort to fix it, plus your a lady, ok tell her the last person that worked on it didnt know anything, he gets you all worked up, then you say ok just fix it whatever it takes. I see it happen all the time to people. One last thing, if she hired a "professional" to removed the motor why not let him do the whole job while he was there? So I refuse to let this "lady" smeer my name and my good business.

C&C Home Maintenance and Repair,How could he tell the circuit board was broken if the unit was not hooked up? So, that's not correct at all. The cage was pulled out and the motor removed. But, the board was working fine when it was removed. Basically, he hooked it up copmpletely wrong and will not take any responsibility for it. When I told him that the he burned out the motor, he told me "...to return it. It was under warantee." OF course, the company will not take back a part that was broken from negligence. I also asked him to pay for the repairs that I have incurred from his mistakes, he told me "I feel like you are scamming me." What? Why on earth would I want to waste days of my time waiting for heating and air peopl, not have heat when it is below freezing etc. I can show the receipt of the repairs. I even asked if he would like to come and talk to the guy who was correcting his mistakes. He declined. My entier unit had to be rewired. DO NOT USE HIM. I was told I am lucky my house did not burn down.

C&C Home Maintenance and Repair,First of all when I got there her furnace was already broken and wires everywhere. Whoever took the motor out damage the circuit board which we discuss before I started working. She wanted me to install the blower motor and thats what I did. If the circuit board is already damage that could burn the motor. My job was to install the motor not repair the whole A/C unit, which I never recieved any money from her.

C&C Home Maintenance and Repair,Part 2- Well, he blew the circuit board too. He wired the fan wire straight into ground (what ever that means) and blew the board. So, now my new repair bill is right at $500 to fix the dama ge he caused. Next we will check my air conditioner. He might have damaged that too when he turned it on to see if it worked with his wiring.

C&C Home Maintenance and Repair,Nicest guy. But, he cost me some serious money. He was supposed to replace the blower fan on my furnace with the brand new $120 one I bought. He put it in and didn't know how to wire it back. He was not even aware that my control panel had a fuse in it. I should have told him to leave at that point. But, he assured me that he knew what he was doing. He promptly burned out my brand new motor. I didn't realize it until the next day. He told me that my relay switch went bad (which was what was causing the unbelievable burning smell). He left to get one and never returned nor called me back. I had two heating and air guys out the next day who both told me that the motor was burned out, that it was hooked up wrong (which was what burned it out)and that the relay switch on my furnace is on the control board - not a box relay. So, I had to buy a second motor and paid someone else to put it in. Don't use him. He has no idea what he is doing with heat and air - unless you have money to burn.

He actually showed up and painted most of my rental house. I paid him for the paint job and he started installing tile. Paid him for most of the tile work before it was complete and he never showed up again! My mistake for trusting a stranger. Your mistake if you do the same!

The first job I gave Allen was a laminate flooring job in my office. He did a great job with it but I still don' t have a threshold installed there. He painted a room for me and used no dropcloths and I am STILL finding specks of paint on the windows and the NEW laminate flooring in there. He agreed to do a small 12' x 14' flooring job, hook up a stove and install a piece of linoleum in a mudroom for me. He gave me the estimate, and I gave him $300 for materials up front. BIG MISTAKE!! he didn' t show up or call for 2 weeks. When he did call, he told me he had been out of town taking care of the funeral of a family member, and of course I felt just awful for him. He was going to be at my place 4 days later. He never showed...never called again...and I haven' t seen a check. I have waited for weeks, because I was sure he would show up and finish what he promised to do. For me, losing $300.00 is a big deal!! He will not return calls, e-mails, and now I can' t even leave a disgruntled message on his phone because you only get a message saying "this customer is unavailable". My husband and I will be contacting the police concerning this matter. Allen comes across as a very nice person, but the follow through is just not there. Very disappointing!

He drives a green F-150 Ford Pickup. This guy ripped me off. He took my $600 deposit and worked half of one day (until the check was in the bank) and then left with half of one room and half of a hallway partially painted. He only showed up to get the deposit and get it to the bank.

I HAVE TO SAY THAT FROM THE FIRST CONTACT(EMAIL) TO THE FINAL PUNCH OUT THAT I WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH THIS COMPANIES WORK. THE E MAIL WAS STRAIGHTFORWARD AND GAVE ME AN IDEA ON THE BUDGET. THE FIRST CONTACT FOR AN ESTIMATE ON TWO PROPERTIES THAT I OWN WAS PROMPTLY AND THOROUGHLY HANDLED. THE WORK WAS DONE WHEN I WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE AND CARE WAS EXCERCISED TO DO A THOROUGH AND CAREFUL JOB ON BOTH JOBS. PAM AND CUJO WORKED TO EARN MY BUSINESS, AND I WILL USE THEM AGAIN. THEY WERE NOT THE CHEAPEST QUOTE THAT I HAD, BUT I COULD TELL THAT THEY HAD A PROFESSIONAL COMMITMENT TO THEIR WORK AND THAT THEY KNEW THEIR BUSINESS. In response to Glenn, he did not mention that he wanted me to clean up his property for free until after I responded. I would have had to pay helpers to remove all of his trash which was being held in 2 garages and mostly the 2nd floor. He wanted me to pay a helper and do the work for trade of a dryer. I cancelled our appointment for a weed eating quote due to my own birthday celebration and labor day weekend.

Melanie responded fairly quickly and made plans to meet and do work on numerouse occasions, however never followed through. She responded to emails and claimed she would call, howevrer that never happened. Also she changed her tune after numerous call and emails by me to facilitate process. She was also unable top even provide a cquote for additional work. It appears that her company is overworked or over sheduled or that Melanie is not about customer service. feel free to email me at anytime to answer specific questions.

My wife has severe allergies and my previous cleaning company used chemicals that irritated her allergies.
