Drainage is a big issue due to deck runoff, so I need this done according to spec and drained properly. Looking for someone who can come in and make recommendations on the type of stone/blocks to use, and who can arrange for all gravel, fill and materials to be transported to the site, as well as the actual construction of the project. However, I'm looking for realistic estimates here. I know roughly what the materials will cost, so any outrageous estimates for labor can and will be immediately dismissed. My backyard is a large up sloping hill. I would like to have two trees removed, and have a 40\' by 40\' section at the base of the hill leveled, with a retaining wall constructed, leaving a small flat back yard area. I estimate that perhaps 250 cubic feet of dirt would need to be removed, and a 60\' long retaining wall would have to be constructed, with maximum height of 8 feet and average height around 5-6 feet. Two 30 foot tall trees would have to be removed as well. We haven\'t removed any trees yet, so per Dekalb county tree rules the permit should be easy to get. Please let me know if you generally get the permits for tree removal, or if you require the homeowner to do so. Please also provide a rough estimate for this kind of work if you can. | ||
