Looking for experienced interior/exterior trim carpenter with some framing experience for complete home renovation and small addition to a foreclosure home in downtown Atlanta area. Need someone with attention to detail who is a licensed GC to co-GC this project with me as I am very capable (and may want to use some of my own sub\'s)but not licensed/insured. Experience with renovations of older homes a must. I am an architect and small-time developer and provide the opportunity to do some nice, interesting work that will definitely look good in your portfolio and bring future work. If we work well together, opprotnitoes are there for many projects in the future and referrals to my clients for potentially higher-end projects. My goal is to hire a licensed GC who can also do some carpentry/trade work himself and is willing to help me take on some day-to-day management of sub\'s in the process but will not necessarily charge a normal,full GC fee since the effort will be shared. After completion of this project we plan to start construction on a new, very custom ground-up home on an adjacent property so there will likely be opportunities there as well. | ||

I have ordered some drop ceiling supplies that will be delivered to my house soon that are surface mount tiles. To install, ceiling needs to have level attachment points. Also frame around duct work in prep for drywall. You can supply materials, or we can make a run to Lowes and get stuff. Also 2 sets of closet doors that need framing finished and doors installed. About 4" to one side of 1 set of double doors and probably just a 2x4 header on the other door. It is worth noting that the pictures below the rooms are all cleaned out now/unfurnished. I also re-worked some of the ducting with flex so it is not hanging down this low now in some places plumbing raised up also. I anticipate the leveling will be done with 2x4s tacked on the side or underside of the joists and possibly even 1x2 used in some places. Please do not respond unless you have the appropriate tools (laser level system) etc. to do the job right. You can start ASAP! | ||
