Ben's top picks is a list of contractors created by me exclusively for Atlanta. I created this list to give credit to the few contractors that I have gotten to know in the past few years and trust enough to recommend to my friends. Because I live in Atlanta it is only possible for me to provide this list for my area.

The following contractors have demonstrated a high level of trust and accountability enough for me to recommend to my friends. Most of these contractors I have met in person and have maintained a long standing relationship with as well as seeing their work and spoken with their clients.

I've known Van since the summer of 2005 when I started benspost.org and have met him in person and seen his work. He did a small job for me and wore slip on booties before entering the house, he's very respectful and takes pride in his work and service. He also has more reviews posted on his company then any other contractor on the site.

I have also known about Randy and Barbara's company since the summer of 2005 when I started benspost.org. Since then they have consistently been active on the site and have always received positive reviews from their customers. Most of their business is from repeat customers and that says a lot about the type of service they provide. They have been helpful in helping me promote benspost.org and I would recommend them to anyone who needs a good trustworthy handyman or remodel. Phil has been a benspost.org member since early 2006. I've had the pleasure of meeting Phil and hiring him to do some electrical work for me. He's usually very busy every time I talk to him and sometimes returns calls at a later date but his prices are very reasonable and he is trustworthy.

Kent has done work on a large building for a friend of mine and did an excellent job. He has a large crew that is capable of handling large painting jobs. He also does pressure washing, deck treatments and carpentry repairs.
